2. Working principle: hydraulic drive, instant strong shearing
The working principle of the metal gantry shear is based on the strong pressure generated by hydraulic transmission. When working, the operator sends the metal material to be sheared (such as steel plates, steel pipes, scrap steel blocks, etc.) to the shearing position between the upper and lower knives through the feeding device, and adjusts the shearing length of the material. The hydraulic cylinder drives the knife holder downward under the action of hydraulic oil, and the upper knife descends with the knife holder, forming a shearing effect with the fixed lower knife. Under strong hydraulic pressure, the upper and lower knives instantly exert huge shearing force on the metal material to cut the metal material. After the shearing is completed, the hydraulic system reverses, and the knife holder rises and resets under the drive of the hydraulic cylinder, waiting for the next shearing operation. The whole process is fast and efficient, and the shearing of metal materials can be completed in a short time.
