The car shell shredders produced by our factory have the following characteristics:

1. Structural adaptation: "tailor-made" for car shells

The structural design of the car shell shredder fully considers the characteristics of car shells - complex materials (including steel plates, aluminum alloys, etc.), large volume, irregular shapes and certain toughness. Its core shredding blade group is made of ultra-high-strength alloy steel, which has been processed through multiple forging and quenching processes, with a hardness of up to HRC55-60, and can easily cope with the high-strength steel plates of car shells. The blades are larger in size, wider in spacing, and the blades are designed with a special serrated shape to enhance the tearing and shearing ability of car shells.​

The bearing box is welded with wear-resistant steel plates with a thickness of 20-30mm, and a wear-resistant lining is installed inside to withstand the severe impact and friction when the car shell enters. The feed port is designed to be large-size open, and with an adjustable pressing device, the huge car shell can be smoothly introduced into the shredding chamber to avoid feed blockage. The power system uses a high-power motor with a heavy-duty reducer, and the output torque can reach thousands of Newton meters, ensuring continuous and strong power for shredding hard car shells. ​

2. Working principle: staged crushing, breaking the whole into pieces ​

The working process of the car shell shredder is an efficient crushing process of "breaking the whole into pieces". First, the scrapped car shell is fed into the feed port through a hoisting device or a conveying device, and the pressing device will firmly fix it and gradually push it into the shredding chamber. After entering the cavity, driven by two (or more) relatively rotating knife shafts, the blade group begins to exert strong tearing and shearing forces on the car shell.​

For complex parts such as curved surfaces and corners of car shells, the blade will first cut into the weak parts and tear them into large pieces; then, these pieces will be further sheared and squeezed under the continuous action of the knife shaft, and gradually broken into smaller block materials (usually between 50-200mm in size). The metal debris and impurities generated during the crushing process will be discharged through the sieve holes at the bottom of the box, and the crushed materials that meet the size requirements will fall from the discharge port, completing the entire shredding process. ​

Third, the impact resistance is strong. The overall structure of the equipment has been reinforced and designed to withstand the huge impact and vibration generated when the car shell is crushed, ensuring long-term stable operation and reducing downtime. ​
Fourth, the degree of automation is high. It is equipped with a PLC intelligent control system, which can realize the full process control of automatic feeding, crushing and discharging. It can also monitor the operation status of the equipment in real time through sensors. Once the material is stuck, overloaded, etc., it will automatically stop and alarm to protect the safety of the equipment. ​

4. Application scenario: throughout the automobile recycling industry chain ​
